Party dresses for pregnant women
We are fully in the “BBC” season (weddings, baptisms and communions) Well, in fact communions have already passed their time but before us we have a few months in which surely many of us will accumulate events and celebrations 😉
It is always a small headache to think about the looks or outfits to wear on these occasions and even more so if, as I said before, we live that year in which it seems that the whole world around us has decided to go down the aisle. There arise real problems such as life itself for women: how can we not repeat outfits and not leave our salaries on dresses that we can get little use of?! I’m sure what I’m talking about sounds familiar to you, right? 😉
Obviously gentlemen have it very easy: a change of shirt and tie and problem solved! Ours, on the other hand, is another story.
Well, my dears, if we thought that was hard enough, wait until you get pregnant! Haha. Trying to solve the problem of finding a good, beautiful, flattering look (given our new curves) and that does not cost us an arm and a leg, seems undoubtedly an impossible mission, but it can be done, I assure you that it can be done! I recently had the first of all the weddings I have this year (14 to be exact) and with my 36 weeks of pregnancy just turned I think I managed to come out on top and I found a maternity look that met all my needs.
I must tell you that, this time, and despite my belly-size-in-the-world, I did not resort to the pregnancy section of any store; It was a model from the firm Hoss Intropia vaporous, long (I already told you last month about how beautiful my legs and feet are these months and obviously I didn’t want to show them ;)) cheerful, very comfortable and very beautiful. In addition, I have the firm intention of fixing it once I have given birth to tighten it and be able to use it when I recover my figure (that comes, right, expert mothers? Oh, hopefully!)
The fact is that, I have been researching these months a lot to try to get dresses for these special occasions and, by far, my favorite store and where I think there is a lot of good, beautiful and not excessively bad price (remember that maternity and cheap clothes is not something that goes hand in hand) is in ASOS materninty And as the best thing is to be able to see it to value it, I invite you to check it out for yourself by taking a look at the website but, in case you may be interested, I leave you a small selection of my star signings 😉
In any case, and as I have done in this first wedding of the season, I invite you to also look in “normal” stores. Many times it is more a matter of the shape of the dress fitting our new figure; The empire cut is perfect but don’t give up evaluating other options because it’s all a matter of seeing it on. In addition, one size larger than our usual one can be more than enough so that we do not have to give up a dress that has made us more 😉
Good luck colleagues and may you find the perfect look for that special occasion! And now if you feel like it, tell me: have you had many problems finding nice and well-priced clothes to dress for weddings for example? Are you one of those who dare to go or do you prefer to give up attending out of sheer desperation when you can’t find anything or don’t look good with anything? I hope they can help you and that you have found this post interesting or at least entertaining.
