Anna Llenas, illustrator of emotions

In Casualplay We always have a special interest in emerging illustrators in our country. After collaborating with Mr. Wonderful, Albert Arrayás, Agustina Guerrero and Lucreativo, now it’s Anna Llenes‘ turn.

Currently Anna Llenas is one of the illustrators with the most projection in the country, the artist moves in various fields: illustration of children’s books, for adults and various objects, a wide range in which she feels very comfortable, since she gives free rein to all her creativity and if it were up to her she would wish that the day had more hours to be able to do everything she likes.

Who is it?


Anna Llenas she has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a degree in Graphic Design from the Llotja School. She also has training in Analytical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Art Therapy.

She spent her early years working as a designer and art director at the agencies Bassat Ogilvy&Mather and Publicis Casadevall&Pedreño. But one day, he decided to leave the world of advertising to embark on his own, more artistic and personal course. Since then, she has been designing original products, writing and illustrating books, and teaching courses on creativity and emotions.

Anna’s illustrations apply different techniques such as the combination of illustration with photography, or collage, but always preserving the manual and spontaneous stroke.
Anna highlights the power of illustration, and states that you have to lose the fear of picking up the pencil and being creative.
